Echo is an intimate festival showcasing some of the best names and emerging talents in electronic music, all set against the elegant landscape of the Adriatic coast of Croatia.

Versa turns out number 25 this week, stick a flake in it and turn it up!

Making electronic music since 2005, he first started to DJ in his hometown of Milton Keynes. After years of progression and a move north to Manchester his first release on wax came in 2011 on Pushing Red, accompanying Manchester don Synkro on a track, with his debut solo EP coming straight after on Smokin Sessions.

Since then Versa has established himself as consistent, unique and exciting producer. His sound is a raw yet precise combination of all his musical obsessions, including Roots, Dub, Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop. The aim, to keep the soul and some elements of live music fused into an electronic format.

This mix is a reflection of his musical tastes, bridging the likes of Ben Klock, Djrum, Mad Professor, Appleblim and 10ft Ganja Plant amongst many others. 2013 looks to be another prosperous year for the young man who has already started to make waves in the underground scene.
