The ocean looms
As we sit beneath the dam
A swirling doom
Over all we hold in hand
A loving gaze
The younger days
A fragile haze
For walls eventually give way
Spilling onto every surface
Water of our steady breath
Chaos pooling into purpose
The meaning of our heaviness
I'll be still
Slowly we'll return to ice
As eternity fills
I'll pretend it will suffice
I'll tell myself that you can stay
That your face won't age
That I'm not afraid
Though I know the way it goes
Oh it goes...
Oh it goes...
