It's midnight On a cold winter evening The ponies are in bed but still the wind can be deceiving And the moonlight Slowly creeps across the valley Frost to me is awful But makes other ponies happy
It's a sad sight And I've been across the town My lips are to dry To even form into a frown but I'm alright but still I'm getting kinda lonely I look up at the clouds And trot across the ice below me.
Walking through the snow There's always someone watching in the hills don't you know? Trying to get home Cold and alone
So I'll wait for the winter to end But until then I'll just pretend
It's pitch black When I wake up in the morning I look out of my window Everything looks full and boring
I wish that I could just stay in bed forever I'd sleep all day I wouldn't have to fave the weather
But god damn I have thing I need to do I have to get out of bed And go downstairs to get some food
And the cold land Outside just makes my hooves hurt So as I trot across the road They get cold and covered with dirt
Walking through the snow There's always someone watching in the hills don't you know? Trying to get home Cold and alone
So I'll wait for the winter to end But until then I'll just pretend
Walking through the snow There's always someone watching in the hills don't you know? Trying to get home Cold and alone
So I'll wait for the winter to end But until then I'll just pretend
(SOLO)
Walking through the snow There's always someone watching in the hills don't you know? Trying to get home Cold and alone
And I'll wait for the winter to end But for now I'll just pretend
The sky line Seems to get a little clearer The snow starts to melt As the summer grows nearer In the mean time I'll close my eyes and ears The frost can chill you bones and bring out all your greatest fears
And the sunlight Gets a little bit warmer Maybe soon the ice with thaw And it'll be just like before until The frost bite Hits again next year once again I'll hide in bed So that the wind can't get me here
