• My summer holidays

I like summer holidays very much. It is warm and I have a lot of free time in the fresh air.

I spend last June at the sea-side. My parents and I went to Sochi.We have been there several times. It is a nice town and there are many places of interest to see.

The weather was fine, it was hot. I swam in the Black sea and tried to become sunburnt spending much time on a beach.

In July my parents returned to their work and I went to a camp. The camp is situated not far from Moscow and it took me two hours to go there.

We had a merry and happy time at the camp. There was a forest near our camp and we went there to pick up some berries and mushrooms in the morning.

In the afternoon we played games, made jokes, watched TV, read English and Russian books and looked through magazines and newspapers.

In the evening we danced, went for a walk, played chess and did a lot of interesting things.

August came and I went to the country to see my grandmother and grandfather. They have a big old house and I came to see and help them. There was much work to do. I watered the plants, took care of hens and helped my grandfather to repair the old house.

I had a nice time in the country.

I returned to Moscow at the end of August, met my friends and we had a picnic

We went to the forest, prepared meat, spoke about our summer holidays and school.

I like summer and enjoyed my last summer holidays very much.
