Once upon a time there were three little pigs
Who had set out down the road.

The first pig built a house out of straw,
But it wasn’t very strong.
He said, “That’s okay. I want to play all day.”

The third little pig built a house of brick
And he made that house real strong.
He worked and he worked and he worked all day
While his brother’s sang their song.

“Come play with us! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la”
A-la-la-la-la-la-la.”

Little did they know there was a wolf nearby.

He knocked on the door of the house of straw
And he said “Pig let me in!”
The pig said, “No no no no no no way
Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin.”

The wolf said he’d huff and he’d puff and he did
And he blew that house away.
The scared pig ran to the house of sticks
So he could play another day.

The wolf came to the house of sticks
And he said “Pigs let me in!”
The pigs cried, “No no no no no no way
Not by the hair on our chinny-chin-chin.”

The wolf said he’d huff and he’d puff and he did
And he blew that house away.

And he said “Pigs let me in!”

But that house stayed in its place.
Well, he huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed
‘til he was purple in the face.

The third pig’s work had made his house really strong
And the wolf could not get in.
He finally turned and ran away
And you could hear the three pigs say,

Let’s sing and play, “Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la”
“A-la-la-la-la-la-la.”
“We’re safe inside! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la”
A-la-la-la-la-la-la.”
