...There was one track that was not produced by Clement — New Moon Over Jamaica, which was overseen by Paul McCartney. The track was written in Jamaica with Cash, McCartney and Tom T. Hall all contributing. When Cash had visited England, he recorded it at McCartney’s studio in the west Sussex countryside, with harmonies by June Carter, Linda McCartney and Hall. “It sounds terrific,” Cash was to say of this historic collaboration.
