Liz Shaw's gone back to Cambridge and the Doctor's settled in
But to fix that TARDIS circuit he's still trying,
The Time Lords come to warn him (looking 'inconspicuous')
That the Master's come to Earth and things could be disastrous.
The Doctor's got a new assistant and her name is Josephine,
Though she's really not the type for fighting Nestene,
She has no understanding -- not a scientist is Jo,
The Doctor tries to fire her but cannot do so.

Oh no! With Jo there's something wrong!
The crate contains a bomb!

The Doctor throws it out the window just before the bomb explodes,
Then frees his assistant from the Master's control,
The Master and McDermott give old Mr Farrell strife,
So he's given a plastic troll which later takes away his life,
The Doctor at the circus is locked up inside a trailer
Where Jo knocks out the strongman, who's his jailer,
Grenade in hand, in comes Professor Phillips hypnotised,
The Doctor tries to reason but he kills himself outside,

Oh no! The policemen are both lies!
They're Autons in disguise!

The Doc and Jo escape the car, relentlessly pursued,
'Til by the Brigadier and Yates they're rescued,
The Doctor steals the circuit from the other renegade,
But all it does is mean the Master cannot get away.
The Master's happy with the latest product from the factory,
Daffodils are handed out across the country,
The doll attacks poor Jo but Mike defends her with his gun,
Meanwhile the Brigadier finds out the deaths have just begun.

Oh no! The Master's said goodbye!
The phone has come alive!

The Brig can hear the Doctor's cries and disconnects the phone,
They work out the flowers are controlled by radio,
One sprays asphyxiating film over Jo's mouth and nose,
Preventing her from breathing 'til the Doctor lets her go.
The pair are left to suffer the impending UNIT strike,
Which is called off by the Brigadier and Mike,
The Master is persuaded not to work with the Nestene
The signal is switched off -- now time for other evil schemes.

Oh no! To everyone's dismay,
The Master's here to stay.
