I sail past a dandelion seed It's flying! It flies to me!
I risk a lot but have to try, at least, So stop And in doing so risk dropping all that I've got.
The hill is steep But it's crucial in my airborne leap And I'm familiar with this patch of land My hands are my dreamcatchers and I have been taught: That if a man is not willing to jump for his dreams, Then how can his dreams be caught?
I am the everlasting calm I turn over my hand; My fingers to unfurl... What's this in my palm?
I've never felt such joy It's like looking into your face I don't have to choose I'm both in any case
And so I'm not sure which one I like to be best; The pellet or the pest? The bullet or the vest? The bail or the arrest?
And so I'm not sure which one I like to be best; The host or the guest? The egg or the nest? The baby or the breast?
And because of you I know, now I can live, The gifts that I can give If we keep Staying+
And my darling all the light that you give me, The goodness I accrue When you're feeling blue, I'll breathe back into you
And so I'm not sure which one I like to be best; The flower or the weed? A million Dandelion seeds are floating in the breeze So every time you catch one, You'll know you're catching me.
An everlasting bond I send to you, from the beyond.
