Phrasal Verb “to get through” (plus another preposition) has a number of meanings:
1) it can mean to complete something e.g: we will never get through all this homework. 2) it can mean to penetrate e.g: we should use a bigger drill to get through this wall / the door was jammed so we couldn’t get through. 3) Used with ‘with’, it can mean to finish e.g: Have you got through with your studies? 4) Used with ‘to’, it can mean to make contact e.g: we couldn’t get through to Bob because his line was busy.
