Colour Hotmix #5 comes from veteran Colour resident Tom Long. Having run the Motor parties in Manchester, and more recently the History of Detroit nights in London, Tom now hosts Cognition, a weekly radio show on timeline music, alongside the nomadic Hold It Down parties. A keen vinyl enthusiast, this three deck assault from Tom is pacey, technically astute, and in a lot of ways summarises his tough, Detroit influenced sound. It’s been said by some of our followers that he is one of the most underrated DJs around. Quite a statement but this 30 minute assault hardly dispels the idea..
