"Tou stavrou sou i dynamis" is the third Sticheron of five that Kassia wrote for Christina's martyrdom and was sung during the Morning Office of July 24th. In this hymn Kassia again defends women by praising the power of the Cross that empowered Christina against her enemies. It was the power of Christ's Cross that allowed Christina to overcome the weakness of the female gender and to escape from the submissiveness imposed on women in Byzantine society, even in death.

Translation:
Christ, the Power of Your cross has worked wondrous deeds, because Christina the martyr also contended in mighty contest whereby, throwing off the weakness of her nature she bravely withstood the oppressors: therefore, carrying off the prize of victory, she intercedes on behalf of our souls.
